This is a very nice plugin for creating galleries. I was looking for a component that could be used for a portfolio but was having trouble finding a good extension. I decided to look in the gallery section and came across this handy little but powerful pugin. Thanks go out to the developer for a great FREE plugin that works well.

This is the last AdmirorGallery plugin in old brunch. New brunch will start at September 15th, 2010. and it'll bring new concept for plugin.

Major problem with release 1.5 is thumbnail script, which is improved in this version. Here is and new feature - Overlay Engine selector, which defines popup theme for openning larger image. Release 1.5 has only Slimbox. This release has Colorbox, Fancybox, Graybox, Slimbox and Topup.

Completely free instant gallery solution. Creation of thumb images is automatic. Admiror Gallery enables you to add multilanguage description (caption) for each of your image. You can use inline settings if you want to have different galleries on your site.

It seems like it took forever to find a gallery that worked for me and that was attractive and easy to use too. I love this gallery extension and definitely recommend it.

It only has one limit which is that I have to mandatory place every gallery to the images/stories/ folder. I will use this plugin for creating galleries and to show single pictures as well. This mess up the way I organize my galleries folders but not a big deal! THIS PLUGIN REMAIN VERY SIMPLE TO USE AND IT WORKS AND THAT'S GREAT!

Last week we gave you a glimpse of a possible new design for Joomla 3.0.

To recap some of the key points:

    • Kyle Ledbetter and his Joomla Usability team ( http://ux.joomla.org ) are redesigning Joomla using Twitter Bootstrap ( http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap ).
    • Making Joomla 3.0 mobile-ready is a very high priority.
    • The release of Joomla 3.0 is still over five months away and much work is still to be done. What you see here are ideas, but only ideas so far. Look for more information as work progresses.
    • Head over to http://ux.joomla.org if you want to get involved.
  • A First Look at the Mobile-Ready Joomla 3.0

Joomla 3.0 is due in September and the team have been hard at work bringing the next era of Joomla to life.

One of the most important changes will be an overhaul of Joomla's design. Both the visitor and administrator areas are being redesigned from top-to-bottom.

The next web revolution will be the mobile revolution. As hundreds of millions more people come online, many of them will only be using mobile devices. Our aim is make Joomla 3.0 completely mobile-friendly, while still remaining recognizably Joomla.
